I’ve recently researched and booked a new client on their first trip to Las Vegas. Every client has their own lists of wants and desires and it is up to me, their travel agent, to tailor fit an itinerary the fits them to a tee.
So, say you’re planning your first trip to Las Vegas. When do you want to go? Do you want to go when it’s very warm in order to be able to attend all the hotel beach/pool parties? Do you want to go when it’s cooler for walking around and sightseeing? Or does your vacation hinge on specific dating? These are first considerations when planning a Vegas vacation.
The next step is to make a list of everything in order of priority that you want to see and do. Are you a gambler? A shopper? A foodie? An adventurer? Do you want to party? Do you want history? Do you want marraige? Do you want to be entertained? Spa treatments? Las Vegas offers all of this and more. And speaking from experience, you will not be able to do it all in just one trip, so the need is there to prioritize.
How much thought have you given to your accommodations? Are you looking for the old Las Vegas Glam? Do you want new, sleek and modern? Do you need to be in the centralized? When choosing a hotel, a motel or a vacation rental; these are questions you need to be asking yourself. How much money are you willing to spend to get your perfect lodgings? Just about every hotel on Las Vegas Boulevard require a mandatory resort fee of some sort that you will need to take into consideration when planning your budget.
Other things to consider when picking where you’ll lay your head; do you want to be able to see the famous Las Vegas Strip from your bedroom window? from your bathtub? Do you want a hotel with a casino? What about food options within your hotel? Is there enough snack/fast food/a la carte restaurants to keep everyone happy? Do you need a kitchen? Do you want your room near an elevator? These are just some preferences to take into consideration. Everyone has their own preferences so choose what’s most important to you.
As you can tell, there is work involved in planning a Las Vegas vacation. But you can make it as easy or as detailed as you want because Vegas has EVERYTHING. That is why it is one of the world’s top vacation destinations.
